it is unusable as a professional tool for me on osx 10.7.5 ( using v4.7.1 - 5 reaper 64 bit) despite others having luck on that osx apparently. I can use it, record and automate ( painfully slowly ) but there is no guarantee of stability due to driver ( both core audio and interface drivers ), and 3rd party plugins. If you like music, you will love Reaper!. I feel like I should have something to write here, but I just can't really think of anything. To be honest the only thing I can find is that sometimes when I render a track, it will not show a live feed of the output range. This doesn't effect the actual rendering process though, just an inconvenience, which is most likely my fault for not updating in awhile. Not that I know of. But in the general preferences you could to try to uncheck "Get VST names/types when scanning" under "plugins - VST". Double-click on the REAPER disk image file to open it. Note that if you are using a 32 bit version of REAPER even on a 64-bit computer, you should download the 32 bit encoder, not the 64-bit one. MIDI and audio routing with multichannel support.
